Surber - Minnie Hale

A former Waveland resident, Mrs. Minnie Mae SURBER, 71, died at St. Eliz. Hospital, Lafayette Saturday March 31, 1956. Mrs. Surber was the mother of Mrs. Wayne Simms of Waveland and had lived in this community a period of 5 years from 1923 to 1928. She was born March 3, 1885 and moved with her family from Kokomo to Waveland in 1923, then moved to Lafayette 1928. Other survivors include another daughter, Mrs. James T. Gilliland of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Mrs. James Sensac and James D. Gilliland one great grandson. Funeral services were held at the Hippensteel Chapel, Lafayette April 2 conducted by Dr. GI Rosselot. Burial in Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lafayette.
